About Garecyclers

Representing Georgia’s Recyclers to Educate, Communicate, Network and support.

Our voice must continue to be heard. It is important that we have participation from recyclers large and small and from the large cities as well as the rural areas of our state.

Through this organization, it is our intent to educate, communicate, network and support each other on the issues that are critical to our continued success in Georgia. We have assembled a top-notch association management firm and lobbying team to represent us on our legislative issues in Atlanta. We must have immediate funds to continue these critical efforts.

Please keep in mind that while metal theft is currently the subject that is getting most of our attention – that the Georgia Recyclers Association will be handling much more than metals theft and issues for metal recyclers. We will be monitoring issues of importance to recyclers of metals, paper, plastic, glass, textiles, rubber, and electronics. We will be engaged in legislative and regulatory issues beyond just metal theft. Future issues could include solid waste/government sponsored recycling, container deposit legislation, storm water regulations (growing hot topic around the country), “flow control” and others.

We hope that you will join today, and encourage your fellow recyclers to join as well. While no one particularly wants a new expense during these tough economic times, we hope that you will agree that membership is a very small price to pay to defend best interests of the Georgia recycling industry.

Please download and review this information and apply online today. There is also an opportunity for our suppliers and vendors to join as an associate member. We hope that you will encourage your equipment suppliers and other vendors to join our efforts.

Feel free to contact any of us if you have any questions or suggestions.

Please help us spread the word about our new association, and encourage your fellow recycler to become involved and  join as well. For us to remain successful in our efforts, it is important that we are able to stay in touch with all Georgia recyclers – large and small.
